R.C. Bell 1975 48pp Shire Publications ISBN:0852634749
This book is a reprinted version of an original work in 1930. Hence the
introducton and rules sections are very dry adn a little hard to follow. The
strategy section isnt too bad but definitely outdated with little mention of the
cube. Bell describes several variants of backgammon which are interesting and
gives some history, inforamation on making your own equipment and even some
gambling tips. Overall, I would hvae to say that this book will do little to
improve your game without a lot of effort. it does have some historical value
and is not completely without merit.
